One of my favourite clients needs a Branch Manager, or Senior Recruitment Consultant/Team Leader who can step up after settling in.
Education recruitment: is a very relationship driven sector. This is a mix of high-volume day to day bookings, alongside longer-term contract cover.
Anyone from education recruitment, social care recruitment, industrial recruitment or similar high volume temps sectors would have some transferable skills.
You would run a small desk as a manager, and receive your own commission, plus the managers branch comms.
It is a 360 role, with an emphasis on daily business development and new client generation. (So industrial on-site, or framework only social care, or account management only roles will not transfer). You would also need a licence and a car, just due to the demographics of the territory and the logistics of public transport when visiting clients.
The team is small, with headcount earmarked for growth. Ideal if you are looking for a long-term career - this company has very low attrition, pays amongst the highest in terms of commissions, and has an open-door policy in terms of new ideas, and new ways of working. It's a company I've dealt with for over 15 years, and one I really enjoy working with - at every level of the business. No ego's, just solid recruitment commercial awareness, incredible market knowledge, supportive and lead from the front management - just very nice people.
