Salary banding is doe and sector experience and can be more depending on this experience


TLDR:
Location:  Leeds
Salary: to £35K, realistic will be c£25K if you don't have education recruitment experience
Hours: usual education early starts 7am - 4/5pm depending on shift
Work location:  office 4pdw, home 1dpw, shorter working hours in the school holidays with no reduction in salary
Team: a well established team and company across Leeds, the name is known and liked by clients and temps
Commission: 5% of all billings no threshold, % of perm fees too    
Training: Classroom + on the job with the manager
Reason for vacancy:  Expansion in business
Progression: Promotion to Team Leader
Mindset: work hard, earn well, open to training and learning, provide a consistently good service to schools and teachers

Education recruitment is a rewarding sector, perfect if you want to become a trusted recruitment partner to your clients.   (It’s also renowned for having THE best holiday allowances alongside reduced working hours over the school holidays with no reduction in salary – but shhhh, don’t tell everyone!)

It’s a fast paced and ever-changing day during term time, with early starts and some late finishes across the week, and a full territory-based recruitment role; sales, business development, candidate interviews and placement, client visits.  

Your hard work is rewarded well in commission (it's not unheard of to be taking home £60K+), a dynamic team environment, career progression, (and those holidays!)  

This is more than just a Recruitment “numbers” role; you will see the benefits of your hard work every week when you visit schools and see your teachers in action.  


For this client, I’m looking for two people who can rework and grow reasonably warm desks covering Leeds and local LEA's. 

Ideally you will be experienced in high volume temps recruitment and not afraid of the phone, although business is not hard to come by with the market the way it is.  It's a great time to change sector, or move to another education recruitment company.   Give me a call and I can tell you more around expectations of desk growth and how to achieve this.


Attitude and skills:  driven, sales focused, winning mentality, excellence in customer service, loves the telephone, organised, positive mindset, growth mindset, driving licence and car
Left field: transferable skills from territory-based sales jobs can fit well in this type of recruitment, so applications from other territory-based salespeople could be considered too (estate agency, education sales etc), salary doe.
